BlackBerry New Product


Blackberry launched its operating system and several new handsets in addition to the name change as an effort to rebrand smartphone manufacturers. Canadian based company, Research in Motion (RIM) changed its name to the BlackBerry line with the launch of BlackBerry 10, a new platform that is targeted to help regain control of the market that is currently dominated by competitors. "Starting from now, RIM has become a BlackBerry," says chief executive, Thorsten Heins in glittering launch in New York, the location of one of the six global launch of the product. "It is a brand. It is a promise. " The new BlackBerry will transform the mobile communications into real mobile computing, "said Heins. Heins showcase two devices, the touch screen model Z10 and Q10, which features the BlackBerry keyboard. The new mobile phone sales will start in a few months. One of the phone models sold in Britain started yesterday, while Canadian consumers can buy another on 5 February. In other important markets such as the United States (U.S.), the equipment will only be sold this March, despite telcos like AT & T and Verizon first introduced the plan submission, Heins said. Alicia Keys Introduces The company also introduced a star, Alicia Keys as its new Global Creative Director. Heins said the new BlackBerry platform and not just a new product solely, but suitable for all parties as successful entrepreneurs and working mom. Keys will play a role in such efforts. Keys, claiming his return to the BlackBerry after switching to some other equipment before, said his job allows' work with individuals in the entertainment industry and music to help enhance the BlackBerry experience. The launch was seen as vital to the BlackBerry, which is the dominant producer of smartphones before Apple launched the iPhone and other competitors began to use the Google Android operating system.
