TORONTO: Apple releases iPhone is out of time, according to Thorsten Heins, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Research In Motion Ltd., the manufacturer of BlackBerry.
Heins made the comment today by the launch of the latest edition of the touch screen BlackBerry smartphones in the United States (U.S.).Service providers, AT & T will start selling the latest generation of BlackBerry Z10 today, after more than six weeks of the launch by RIM globally.
Heins told the Associated Press (AP) that the version of the BlackBerry keyboard, however, will only be two or three months from now.
Both smart phones and touch screen version kecunci board model is part of RIM's effort to get back in the smartphone competition arena after Apple releases the iPhone in 2007.
Heins said a lack of product innovation by Apple saw the iPhone is now lagging behind.
He said the iPhone in and out of applications on the smartphone does not allow greater functionality such as BlackBerry Z10.
"It's all the same" Heins said referring to the iPhone.
RIM's latest software allows the user to spread the functions as in the personal computer.
For example, he said someone who uses no need to close the application to check email.
